GaN Models Catch Up Speed with the Help of Python Scripts
GaN models are a hot topic of discussion and R&D in the high power RF development sector in today’s world. Experts predict that this sector, which was worth less than $2.5 million in 2010, will be worth $500 million in 2016. That goes to show how much interest this topic is generating. The latest on GaN models is that usage of Python scripts with the GaN technology recently released by Agilent Technologies will actually speed up the GaN models considerably. This is excellent news if you are taking Python training classes, considering the demand it is going to have in the coming days.
New Version of IC-CAP has Anglevo-GaN Modeling and Python Programming
IC-CAP is short for integrated circuit characterization and analysis platform. Recently, Agilent Technologies accounted the release of a new version of this IC-CAP. This device is supposed to be used for device characterization at higher frequencies and modeling capabilities. With this, researchers can extract parameters, analyze data, control the instruments and test the responsiveness of the interface. There are two significant factors in this new version of IC-CAP. One is that it is based on the revolutionary Anglevo-GaN modeling. Other is that the script running on it is Python based.
Why Python, of All the Programming Languages
Python programming, you will be aware of the fact that you don’t need to compile the Python code and generate object codes. This type of practice is common with programming languages like C++ or C. On the contrary, the object code is compiled at run-time. This is similar to interpreting the coding while running it. That is the reason why Python is called interpreter language. This not only increases speed and efficiency but also ensures that the processes are spontaneous. That is the reason why researchers opted to go ahead with Python.

How often do you see these training courses coming out and how often should you take them to as you put it stay relevant? I am excited to take any training that is available right now because I am an office manager and I like to stay up on the latest and greatest thing available. You have done a great job on this article and I hope you will keep it up.

So I’m teaching a friend’s son some python programming, just going through control of flow, basic data types/structures. I want to go through a tutorial with him, and hopefully build something simple yet cool to get him excited about the power of python. I should show him this article so he can begin to appreciate the advantages of knowing this scripting platform. He may even sign up for a Firebox course.
