Julie Johnson, founder of Firebox Training will be showcasing Firebox Training’s three new Oracle 11g Business Intelligence Training Courses in the booth at the at the Rocky Mountain Oracle User Groups’ annual convention, February 11, 12, 13, 2013. Firebox will be offering “Show Only” enrollment specials to help students save on any Java, XML, Python, or Oracle training course offered by Firebox Training.
Firebox now offers three new OBIEE training courses; Oracle Business Intelligence Create Analysis and Dashboards (4-Day), OBIEE Build Repository (3-Day), and OBIEE Administration (3-Day). The new OBIEE Course-ware features easy to follow illustrations, fresh content and detailed hand-on-training lab modules. Johnson and Firebox have incorporated the feedback from previous courses delivered and made impressive improvements in this release. The course-ware author is a staff member and instructor at Firebox.
“The Rocky Mountain Oracle User Group convention is a unique opportunity to mix with top Oracle IT professionals and enhance your skills through the break-out courses. We will be focused on demonstrating learning objectives from our new OBIEE training courses,” said Julie Johnson, the founder of Firebox Training. “This show really gives us a place to mix with the end users and decision makers in the Denver market place,” added Johnson.
The OBIEE training courses can be delivered on-site or online. Firebox Instructor-led online OBIEE training courses offer students the opportunity to learn at a price that won’t break the training budget. The tuition fee for a professional 4-day OBIEE Create Analysis and Dashboards starts at $2395, multiple student and multiple course enrollment discounts are available. The Instructor-led online delivery format is the most popular delivery method because it offers a high end training with flexibility that fits in with the busy IT workers’ schedule and offers flexibility for companies with IT staff in multiple locations.
Firebox Training offers instructor-led online classes that provide flexibility to complete the homework/labs. Courses provide hands on technology transfer of knowledge and students can avoid TSA hassles and travel. Because the environment is virtual, adverse weather does not stop classes from running. One of the aspects of virtual training is access to a highly qualified and experienced instructor without either students or instructor having to travel thousands of miles to a training center. Students can also apply learning on their own IT systems immediately after class time.
Firebox Training was founded in 2007 in Golden, Colorado. Since that time they have delivered training for well known organizations including General Dynamics, Bank of America, Comcast, NREL, Vertafore, Time Warner, Citrix Inc, City of Denver, City of Los Angeles and HP, just to name a few. Firebox instructors travel to client locations across the globe. Most recently Firebox completed training in Sydney, Singapore, London, New York, Austin, Seattle and Denver.

I am so glad that you sent this article out and you mentioned that there is an online course that you can take as well. I work full time but I want to take some classes that will help me with my computer skills and knowledge and this is going to help me with that a great deal. Thank you again, I am going to save this link to my favorites to return later.

I would love to go to this conference just simply because it is in one of my most favorite place to visit. I am in the process of learning what I need to know about this stuff in order to continue to move forward in my career. I have noticed that technology is moving so fast that what you learned a year ago is obsolete and redefined the very next year.

These courses seem very detailed. It would seem these training courses are just what a developer needs to become qualified for any gainful employment in these fields. The money you save on any of these courses must be substantial if you happen to be one of the fortunate ones to be in attendance at the Rocky Mountain Oracle User Groups’ annual convention.

These courses are really something that many aspiring developers can take advantage of and advance their education. To think that these courses are advanced and last only 3 days or so is encouraging because it does not seem like such a daunting task to enroll in any of these training programs. I think even I can do it.

Tara I think you’re right the more of this classes you can take the better your job choices are going to be. My son is going to ITT tech to get his degree in this field and the more I research this stuff the more I realize that even after he gets his degree he is going to have to take courses like this periodically to keep up with all the changes they’re constantly making.

They always have their training in such nice location like this that it makes you want to go just to have a mini vacation of sorts. I would love to go to Colorado after winter is over. I am thinking February could be a very hazardous time to visit. Thank you for the post and I hope that you will post a schedule soon of the training they have coming up.

I am not too familiar with this kind of training course, but if it is anything like the sample video training session provided on this site, it should be relatively easy to learn. The instructor seems very experienced and speaks with a clear voice and explains every aspect of the programming language very clearly. It beats the heck out of reading a bulky technical manual.

I have been to a couple of the training courses offered by Firebox and they have been great courses and you will learn a lot from them. I am not able to go to the one in Colorado however and I am hoping that you will post the highlights of what was taught or that someone could do a live feed of the training as it is going on. Will you make another post?
Peter says
Not only do these video peaks that they give us make it look simple to comprehend but simple to do as well. The instructor that they have is a good example to others on how this should be taught as well. Thank you for the post it sounds like a great training course and from what I understand Firebox has a few, I look forward to seeing the others.

The Rocky Mountain Oracle User Groups’ annual convention sounds like a pretty large place where you can discover the latest technologies and probably see some impressive and compelling demonstrations. I remember the last time I went to a software convention in Orlando, I left quite impressed with certain programs like the Dragon naturally speaking software. The demonstration was quite impressive.

Will you be posting the next course that will be available and will it be in Colorado as well? I was looking forward to going to this one but I couldn’t make it happen so if there is going to be another one coming up that would be great. Your post is great but I think you should update it with more recent dates to come and new locations if there are any.
