Salesforce.com is adding more channel services to it’s existing clouds in a pay-as-you-need-it service.

This is giving software companies of the past a run for their money as the days of paying for each and every upgrade as if it is completely unique are becoming antiquated.
Salesforce.com is partnering with third party application exchange partners to improve their applications on their Force.com Platform, and customers can have access to these improvements for a fraction of the cost.
Dell is one of their channel partners as both companies recognize that building new channel models for success is essential for the continued growth of the cloud market and their own long-term prosperity.
Salesforce.com partnered with Dell several years ago to keep up with competitors like IBM and Oracle. If you have purchased a Dell recently, you may have seen some software applications and add-on devices.
Dell is a major reseller of Microsoft, Symantec and Intuit as well as other third-party operating systems and applications that you can order when building your customized Dell computer.
