Python Apps Now Compatible on Amazon Web Services
A blog post on the Amazon’s official blog has good news for you if you are a python app developer or if you are taking python training courses. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) now supports application coded using python also. Since the posting has appeared on the official blog site of Amazon, you can be assured of its authenticity. The blog directly states that ‘it is good to be a python developer’.
To make app deployment more convenient and easier for developers, Amazon Web Services had introduced the Amazon Elastic Beanstalk. This also helped the developers to manage their applications on the AWS and it already was compatible with .NET, JAVA and PHP. However, the introduction of Python also as a compatible language will ensure that the offering is not only more comprehensive and fulfilling but will also give developers the chance to utilize the advantages Python has over its rivals.
Flask and Django applications can also be deployed now that python is also included in the Elastic Beanstalk. For developers who want to stick to the roots and deploy the applications straight from the command line only, EB and Git can be employed and the app can be launched.
Another advantage Amazon has facilitated along with the integration of Python programming language is the easy integration of the Amazon cloud based service, the Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS). To quote the blog, this integration will make the task of ‘setting up, operating and scaling a relational database in cloud’.
Although Python has never scaled the charts in terms of popularity or flair, you can’t deny that it is one of the programming languages that have always been consistent. This is one of the reasons why Amazon chose to integrate Python over Ruby on Rails or other similar programming languages.

There seem to be so many different programming languages, that it can be confusing to someone who does not have any experience in the real world work place, but who is considering a career as a developer. I am glad that this site provides an in depth introduction to various programming languages and how they fair in the market place. Articles like this really help one to make an informed decision.

I am a long time Amazon online shopper, but I would not mind at all to land a job at that company. This is the first time I have ever heard of a major company integrating the Python language. I am not even familiar with this language, though I have heard about it in conversations with developers. I have never seen a job ad mention it though.
