If you are a developer using Python and even Java for coding applications, you can use the new eXo Cloud IDE to directly code, debug and launch the apps on the cloud based platform. This was announced at the developers conference organized by Google. You can access the cloud service using just a browser and the internet, and build and deploy applications from the scratch after testing them.
This new facility eliminates the need for programmers to carry their laptops wherever they go, as they can easily create their online accounts using this IDE. If you are a programmer, you would do well to check out this app and register by creating a user account. All you need is a device with a browser (which is available in some of the smartphones also today). You can continue coding from where you had left off or begin a new project also. The best thing about this facility is that this service is free of cost and doesn’t require the use of computers with good configuration.
This tool is a boon for people who are conducting Java and Python training courses. All they have to do is ask their students to create an account with this online tool. The students can use it in the classes and also from other places.
Chris Ramsdale, product manager of Google App engine said that this tool was designed for the convenience of developers around the world. He also added that coding is similar to composing music and the developers have to do it when the inspiration strikes. This tool will provide them with a platform irrespective of where they are located.
Product manager for eXo cloud services, Mark Downey also reflected the same sentiment by saying that this app is intended to make developers more efficient and productive. He also told that there might be services in the future, where developers could work together as a team and come up with inspiring applications.
